Fundación Agreste’s intention is to complement the
activities of companies involved in Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) with Corporate Volunteering
programmes. Through these programmes, we aim to fulfil
people’s urge to be involved in social action and contribute
to the development of awareness and commitment. Fundación
Agreste also carries out specific Corporate Volunteering
planning for companies that do not have CSR projects but
want to motivate their employees through organised group
activities.
In all cases Fundación Agreste develops, in partnership
with the company, a programme that incorporates and
takes account of the particular characteristics of each
group of people - their motivations and aspirations, as well
as the needs of the community they are trying to help.
The volunteer training process places a special
emphasis on being at the forefront of environmental
awareness, education and active social work. Volunteers
receive instruction and support to help them carry out their
work. The commitment this generates is so great that they
become both student and teacher, contributing to the
development of leaders in their workplace, community and
family, and involving many others in the commitment to the
environment and quality of life.
